Forecast as of 10:26 am EST on November 22, 2008 - A gale center north of Nova Scotia will provide strong winds to the New England waters this afternoon. High pres will then build from the mid Atlc waters N into New England. The high will move offshore Mon...then low pres will exit the Great Lakes Mon night and redevelop near Long Island Tue. The low will then move N into western New England later Tue into Wed. W winds 20 to 25 kt...diminishing to 15 to 20 kt in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts up to 30 kt. Waves 2 to 3 ft.

Sun Night

SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 25 kt until just after midnight. Waves around 2 ft.

Mon

SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Waves 1 foot or less.

Mon Night

S winds 10 to 15 kt...becoming se 5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 20 kt around midnight...then becoming E 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt late. Waves 1 to 2 ft.

Tue

E winds 20 to 25 kt...becoming S 15 to 20 kt until late evening...then becoming W 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Waves 2 to 3 ft through early evening...then 1 foot or less. Rain...then a chance of showers in the late afternoon and overnight. Vsby 1 to 3 nm after midnight.
